Frozen Chocolate Almond Pie

This one makes my mouth water just thinking about it! Delicious chocolaty goodness on a hot summer day that is sooo much better than chocolate ice cream. This was the perfect ending to a hot summer day of playing and working on the farm. Although admittedly, I did much more playing than working. The taste of this cold, creamy chocolate pie after running around in the sun all day was like tasting a piece of summer perfection.

1 graham cracker crumb pie shell
4 milk chocolate candy bars with almonds (1.15 ounces each)
20 large marshmallows
1/2 cup milk
1 - 8 ounce whipped topping

Put candy, marshmallows, and milk in 2 quart casserole dish. Microwave on high 2 minutes, stir, then microwave 1 to 2 minutes more. Stir again, mixture should be smooth. Microwave for additional time as needed until mixture is smooth. Chill mixture in refrigerator about 30 to 40 minutes, or in a pan of ice water until thickened, stirring occasionally. Fold whipped topping into cooled chocolate mixture. Pile into pie shell and freeze until firm.
